Situated along the Gulf of Guinea in West Africa, Ghana spans approximately 238,535 square kilometers with a vibrant and diverse population, and English as the official language. Historically known for its role in the trans-Saharan trade and later as the Gold Coast, Ghana's economy has long been intertwined with gold and cocoa production. Recognizing the need for economic diversification, the country is actively promoting industries such as oil and gas, agriculture, and services. With a commitment to sustainable development, Ghana is navigating its economic trajectory by attracting foreign investment, fostering innovation, and investing in infrastructure. The nation addresses historical challenges while striving for sustained and inclusive growth, maintaining a balance between preserving its cultural heritage and embracing modern development.

 

Brief presentation of UPF :

Founded on September 12, 2005, UPF Ghana has made considerable efforts in the area of witnessing, and has counted over 380 Ambassadors for Peace. UPF has undertaken a variety of impactful projects and activities, including character education workshops in schools with content endorsed by the Ghana Parliament. Additionally, UPF has launched the IAPD Ghana Chapter and initiated the International Association of Traditional Rulers for Peace. Family Values Education has been conducted with VIP couples, and UPF has made significant contributions through cash and item donations to the Ghana Association of Physically Challenged Persons, with future plans to build a medical center for them. Lastly, UPF organizes an annual End-of-Year Event, featuring the Ambassadors for Peace Awards.
