Uganda – The Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Uganda Chapter successfully hosted a two-day weekend workshop aimed at offering in-depth training on the Divine Principle to young people committed to strengthening their understanding of peacebuilding values and spiritual growth.

Held on June 28–29, 2025, the workshop welcomed 44 youth participants for an immersive program that combined lectures, discussions, and personal reflection. The sessions were led by Hon. Erinah Rutangye, with the dedicated assistance of Mr. Simon Bagonza, a graduate of the 40-day program who is now preparing for the Blessing.

Participants responded enthusiastically to the teachings, sharing heartfelt reflections and gratitude for the vision and life work of UPF’s Founders. Many described the experience as eye-opening and transformative, appreciating the depth and relevance of the Divine Principle in addressing personal development and fostering peaceful relationships.

Significantly, all 44 participants committed to registering for the upcoming 40-day workshop scheduled for the August–September school holiday at the FFWPU Center. This strong response reflects the growing desire among Uganda’s youth to engage deeply with the principles of peace, ethics, and family values promoted by UPF.

Through such initiatives, UPF Uganda continues to invest in empowering the next generation with the knowledge, character, and leadership skills necessary to build strong families and peaceful communities.
