Run4Peace—Celebrating the International Day of Peace
On 20 September 2025, UPF–Liberia partnered with the African Youth Fellowship to organize Run4Peace, a vibrant outdoor activity that gathered over 200 young people from across Monrovia to celebrate the International Day of Peace. The marathon, which began at ELWA Junction and concluded at Invincible Park, showcased resilience, creativity, and unity through sports.
The event also featured remarks from Rev. Pamela S. M. Mwanga, National Leader of UPF-Liberia, and Amb. McCarthy G. Teayah, Secretary General of UPF-Liberia. Rev. Pamela presented medals to the winners, while Amb. Teayah joined participants in completing the run.
The celebration concluded with a Stakeholders’ Dialogue on Peace and Reconciliation at the University of Liberia, providing a platform for engagement among youth, civil society, and peace advocates.
