Monrovia, Liberia – The Universal Peace Federation (UPF–Liberia) marked the month of September 2025 with a series of impactful activities promoting peace, leadership, and reconciliation under the banner of the 45th International Day of Peace and the 20th Anniversary of UPF’s founding.

Young Ambassadors for Peace (YAP) Leadership Election
The Young Ambassadors for Peace (YAP) successfully held its elections on Friday, 19 September 2025, at the University of Liberia Main Campus and online. A total of 243 ballots were printed, with 55 members casting their votes both in-person and virtually.
The final certified results were as follows:

The election commissioners commended the active participation of members and reaffirmed their dedication to transparent and democratic leadership within YAP. The newly elected team pledged to uphold UPF’s principles and advance youth-driven peace initiatives nationwide.
