UPF–Guinea Observes the International Day of Peace with a Call for National Reconciliation and Solidarity

Conakry, Guinea – In anticipation of the national referendum scheduled for 21 September, the Universal Peace Federation (UPF–Guinea) held a special observance of the International Day of Peace 2025, dedicated to promoting peace, reconciliation, and social stability across the nation.

The event served as a timely platform for dialogue and unity, bringing together religious leaders, community representatives, and Ambassadors for Peace to advocate for harmony and tolerance in a period marked by political tension.
Promoting Peace and Reconciliation
The celebration began with a Declaration of Peace and Reconciliation, where UPF–Guinea issued a public statement calling on all Guineans to embrace dialogue, mutual respect, and non-violence. The message emphasized that lasting peace can only be achieved through collective responsibility and reconciliation among all sectors of society.
Interfaith Prayer for National Stability
Religious leaders from diverse faiths gathered to offer prayers for national unity, stability, and the success of the upcoming referendum.
